Some examples are 'free-for-member' events at the annual meeting (e.g. welcome reception, student professional development luncheon), student awards at the annual meeting (e.g. best paper & best poster awards), small travel reimbursements for students undertaking long distance travel to the meeting, and small honoraria for members approved to represent CABA-ACAB in a professional capacity at non-academic meetings/events or government initiatives (e.g. invited members of the Residential School Graves (RSG) Committee undertaking long-distance travel to attend Knowledge Exchange Gatherings initiated by Indigenous Nations or undertaking extensive discussion with and providing written recommendations to the Office of the Special Interlocutor).
